Can we print ourselves out of the Financial Crisis?

In the video clip below, Peter Schiff argues against Michael Mussa that the situation in the United States is like a giant Ponzi scheme, where the bailouts and the stimulus packages are just making the recession worse. "We can't keep trying to reflate the bubble. That's what got us into this mess."

Is it a big surprise to find out that the "think-tank" Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics among others have these two as its board members?

David Rockefeller
Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Chase Manhattan.

Lynn Forester de Rothschild
CEO and President, E.L. Rothschild Limited.

The Rockefellers and the Rothschilds are two families who have huge influence on politics, and who unfortunately don't have Americans' best interest in mind. Is it possible to hope for change to sound policy in Washington when the frontman of this "think-tank" seems to believe that it is ok to continue printing money in order to get out of the mess?
