The most important lesson of history is that nobody ever learns history's lesson
Aldous Huxley speaks to Mike Wallace in this interview about how our world could become brave new world. He makes an interesting point when he says that rulers will be able to bypass the rational side of man and appeal to his deeper emotions, making him actually love his slavery. This by using new types of drugs and propaganda aided by new technology.

Very interesting blog! I don't want to tell the end of the novel, but what I can say, is that it is dark in the lighthouse and sometimes, however the lighthouse is bright and can be seen from miles and miles away, a lot of people can't even see it. People just avoid to look at the light, pretending that everything is ok. But while they keep their head in the sand, it is getting darker and darker inside the lighthouse. In other words, everything is out there, in the newspaper and on the Internet. Still... Many are just eating sand on the coast.
